It is a 1,300 km (810 miles) road connecting Hasan Abdal in Pakistan to Khunjerab Pass on the China-Pakistan border. Renowned as one of the highest paved international roads, it is often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” due to its challenging construction through the Karakoram mountain range.
