Reflections of My Trip to Hunza Valley, Pakistan 25th October – 2nd November 2024 It was unbelievable to find a travel agency that offers soft adventure tours for seniors. Hunza Valley—my friends and family had to Google it to find out where it is. For me, the key word that caught my attention was "Karakoram," which has been on my bucket list for years. During our stays in Chilas, Hunza Valley, and Skardu, I opened my windows to see breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and lakes.I felt humbled and appreciative of all that I have, in the presence of such grandeur. Besides the scenery, the people of Hunza Valley were hospitable, resilient, and beautiful.

So, what should you pack on your trip?AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. And Only The Most Essential Things.• Packing light is a cliché, yet one that has a lot of truth to it. THE MORE I TRAVEL, THE MORE I REALIZE I DON’T NEED A LOT OF STUFF. Everything I need now fits into one or two luggage. • ALWAYS USE A TRAVEL LUGGAGE WITH WHEELS as this will minimise weight to be carried and you can travel with ease. • LUXURY HOTELS PROVIDE CLEAN TOWELS AND HOTEL TOILETRIES THAT YOU CAN USE. If you are short of any item or need something generic that you forgot, there are shops or pharmacies you can purchase these from at any major airports, cities or towns. • PACK LESS, USE THE HOTEL LAUNDRY OR WASH SMALL, LIGHT CLOTHING ITEMS THE NIGHT BEFORE, and these things should be dry the next day or so. • ORGANIZE YOUR THINGS

Dear friends, By divine appointment I got reconnected with Pastor Pritam Singh (now Mr. Pritam Singh), after many years first meeting him in Jurong. As I love to blow the shofar, my girlfriend invited me to help Pritam Singh in his outreach program in Jurong blessing the migrant workers. During the program, I went up to the stage to blow the shofar. I was somewhat sceptical and scared to face the big crowd of onlookers while on the stage. With the encouragement of my girlfriend, I blew the shofar. I got connected again with Pritam Singh through his invitation for me to attend his SAIF-Church 17th anniversary but due to my tight schedule then, I did not turn up for the anniversary celebration.
