HOW

BEGAN

In 2023, feeling burnt out and exhausted from managing a Church that I founded and cherish, I DECIDED TO TAKE A BREAK AND GO ON A MOUNTAIN HOLIDAY, a personal passion of mine.

Joseph Masse from SAIF-Church organized a solo trip to Pakistan to visit the underprivileged school children he has been personally supporting for the past 18 years. I chose to accompany him to see first-hand his efforts and then proceed for a mountain holiday.

Subsequently, we embarked on a tour with Grace Tours in Islamabad, Pakistan heading to the Hunza Valley.

THIS MOUNTAIN TRIP PROFOUNDLY CHANGED MY LIFE.

A TIMELINE

VOICE OF GOD: Surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Hunza Valley, I experienced a continuous divine prompting to “START A TRAVEL AGENCY,” a clear voice from God in my inner spirit that God impressed in me daily in the mornings, through the day and at night before I slept.

These divine words lingered with me daily for two weeks, impossible to shake away. I kept this vision to myself, attempting to push it aside and disregard it.

At 60 years old, starting a travel agency is definitely out of the question for me. “NO WAY, LORD, NOT A TRAVEL AGENCY,” I thought as I sought peace and relaxation in the mountains.

OBEDIENCE TO THE VISION: Upon reaching Singapore, I still stubbornly refused to note down the message from God, struggling in my thoughts and heart, questioning, “IS THIS YOU, LORD SPEAKING TO ME?” The LORD rebuked me and told me to go to the computer, download the divine blueprint and obediently write His words down. Following this divine guidance, I recorded the vision given to me by God.

“The LORD told me, ‘This Travel Agency Will Bring Blessings To The Nations And To Peoples.’ “Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, the ends of the earth for Your possession.” Psalm 2:8

28/10/2023
ACQUIRED the domain www.mountainadventuretravels.com and purchased high-quality stock photos and drone videos.

6/11/2023
REGISTERED Mountain Adventure Travel with the Singapore Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority.

9/11/2023
ESTABLISHED social media accounts on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok (set to private).

RECEIVED APPROVAL for the entity name Mountain Adventure Travels Pte. Ltd. with UEN: 202344454D

OPENED a UOB e-Business Bank Account Number 713-300-072-4

APPLIED for a Travel Agency License with the Singapore Tourism Board.

I consider myself incredibly blessed as GOD HAS INTRODUCED EXCEPTIONAL INDIVIDUALS INTO MY LIFE FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES for Mountain Adventure Travels, making this vision a reality.

Reflecting on my childhood, my love for mountains was clearly evident all throughout my life. During a particular event in 2022, my son and I bought two army rucksacks in Leh, Ladakh, India, with the inscription “THE MOUNTAINS ARE CALLING AND I MUST GO.” by John Muir. These words now strongly resonate with my life’s purpose.

THIS TRAVEL AGENCY WILL FUNCTION IN A FULLY SECULAR MANNER throughout your tours and travels, free from any religious elements.
